Civil

The Civil Department handles the filing of all civil suits, clerk suits, adoptions, successions, and all matters relating to indexing.  The department also maintains docket and minute books, and records all costs associated with the suits. 
The Civil Processing section issues citations, writs, subpoenas, and other processes of the Court in the name of the State of Louisiana.
