Lincoln Parish Long Range Transportation Plan

The Lincoln Parish Police Jury in collaboration with Hunt, Guillot, and Associates has developed a draft long-range transportation plan which is available for public review online at the Police Jury website, or in print copies available at the Police Jury Office or the Lincoln Parish Library in Ruston.

The draft plan has been developed with extensive public participation throughout the Parish and assesses existing infrastructure, factors that influence transportation modes and patterns, and makes suggestions of how best to maintain, modify, and build new infrastructure that fulfills the needs of all those in Lincoln Parish.  The plan was sponsored by the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD), which has worked with the Police Jury over the past year to provide guidance and resources to help develop the plan and identify projects that may be eligible for state or federal funding.

Public comments on the draft plan should be directed to Hunt, Guillot, and Associated at lincolnparish-lrtp-comments@hga-llc.com.  The public comment period will be from 02/12/2026 until 02/26/2026.  Your support in reading, commenting on, and distributing the completed draft plan will help shape future transportation initiatives for Lincoln Parish would be greatly appreciated.
