APRIL 27, 2024 MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION
RUSTON SCHOOL DISTRICT 1 PROPOSITION AND CHOUDRANT SCHOOL DISTRICT 6 PROPOSITION
Ruston, La.— Lincoln Parish Registrar of Voters Sharon Parnell will meet with the Board of Election Supervisors to seal the early voting machines
for the APRIL 27, 2024 MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 10, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. The board meeting will be held in her Ruston office located in the Courthouse at 100 W Texas Avenue, Ruston LA 71270.
Early Voting for the April 27, 2024 election begins Saturday, April 13 through Saturday, April 20 (excluding Sunday, April 14) from 8:30 AM – 6:00 P.M.
The deadline to register to vote in person, by mail, or the Office of Motor Vehicles was March 27, 2024. The deadline to register online to vote was April 6, 2024. - The deadline to request an absentee ballot is April 23 by 4:30 p.m (other than military and overseas voters). You can request an absentee ballot online at www.sos.la.gov, Voter Portal, or in writing through the Registrar of Voters Office.
- The deadline for a registrar of voters to receive a voted absentee ballot is April 26 by 4:30 p.m. (other than military and overseas voters).
- On election day, the polls are open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
