Landfill

​ONLY CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS WASTE GENERATED WITHIN LINCOLN PARISH IS PERMITTED TO BE DISPOSED AT THE LANDFILL.

INSPECTION OF ALL LOADS ENTERING THE LINCOLN PARISH LANDFILL

  • All waste brought into the Lincoln Parish Landfill is inspected at the gate by landfill employees with cameras and/or physically going outside for a more indepth inspection. The driver is then directed to the proper area to dump allowed waste.
  • If a citizen is found to have waste that is not allowed they will be either instructed to only dump the allowed waste or the entire load will be rejected and recorded properly.
  • If any waste that is not allowed in a particular area is missed at the gate it is to be separated at the dump area from the allowed waste and set aside to be removed to the correct area. 

FACILITY LIMITATIONS:

  • The receipt of hazardous waste shall be strictly prohibited and prevented. Any other wastes that present special handling or disposal problems may be excluded by the administrative authority.
  • Salvaging shall be prevented.
  • Scavenging shall be prevented.
  • The following types of waste may be disposed of:
    • Construction/Demolition debris as defined in LAC 33:VII.115;
    • Woodwastes as defined in LAC 33:VII.115; and
    • Yard waste as defined in LAC 33:VII.115.
